Bluetooth file messenger for Android
Send APKs, videos, photos, backups, office files and class notes directly over Bluetooth. The receiver approves first, interrupted transfers resume, and delivery gets a double tick.

Built differently
The selected file travels phone-to-phone. Wi-Fi, mobile data and a cloud drive are not required for the transfer.
A receiver sees the sender, filename, size, type and note, then accepts or declines before file bytes are sent.
Verified checkpoints let an interrupted transfer continue from the saved position when the same phones reconnect.
Scan a short-lived QR to confirm the intended person. Unrelated Bluetooth devices stay out of the people list.
Keep files and short notes organized per contact, with queued, declined, transferring and delivered states.
A double tick appears only after the receiver verifies and saves the complete file—not merely after sending starts.
* Near Share can transfer arbitrary file types. Android can store an EXE but normally cannot run it.
Three simple moves
Scan their QR once. The app verifies the matching Near Share handshake nearby.
Add an optional note. If your friend is offline, queue it until they reconnect.
Transfer starts only after consent and finishes with integrity verification and a saved-file receipt.
Privacy by design
The current app has no account system, advertising SDK or analytics SDK. Transfer content, captions, contact aliases and history are not uploaded to IOTSOFT.in servers.

This Privacy Policy explains how the Near Share Android application and this website handle information. Near Share is published by IOTSOFT.in under its registered Jenix brand (“we”, “us” or “our”). Privacy questions can be sent to iotsoft.in@gmail.com.
This policy applies to the Near Share Android application (package app.nearshare.mobile) and the official website at nearshare.iotsoft.in. The current app works without a Near Share account and does not upload transfer content or app history to a developer-operated cloud service.
To provide its features, the app processes the following information locally:
When you request a transfer, the chosen recipient receives limited offer metadata: your app display name, filename, type, size and optional caption. File bytes are sent only after that recipient accepts. For one-to-many sharing, each selected recipient receives a separate request and makes a separate decision.
The current Android release does not transmit app user data to IOTSOFT.in servers and does not include advertising or analytics SDKs. We do not sell personal data. A transfer to a recipient selected by the user is a user-directed app function; the recipient is responsible for how they handle the received file.
If a future release adds optional cloud sync, crash reporting, analytics, accounts or another server feature, this policy and the Google Play Data Safety declaration must be updated before that feature is released.
| Permission or access | Why it is used | What Near Share does not do |
|---|---|---|
| Nearby devices / Bluetooth | Discover Near Share phones, become discoverable, connect and transfer files. | No Bluetooth data is used for advertising or tracking. |
| Camera | Scan a friend’s short-lived pairing QR. | The app does not save camera photos or video. |
| Location on Android 11 and earlier | Older Android versions gate Bluetooth discovery behind foreground location permission. | The app does not request, derive, store or transmit GPS coordinates. |
| Files selected by you | Read the one file you choose and save an accepted incoming file. | The app does not request broad “all files” access or silently scan your storage. |
| Internet | Supports links such as the official site, invitation or future Play listing; Bluetooth transfers do not depend on it. | Transfer content and history are not uploaded by the current release. |
Near Share uses explicit recipient consent, app-to-app protocol validation, QR contact confirmation, bounded protocol messages, transfer checkpoints and final SHA-256 integrity verification. Bluetooth pairing and link security are provided by the Android devices involved. The current release should not be described as providing independent end-to-end encryption; share sensitive files only with a trusted person and in a trusted physical environment.
Downloads/NearShare remain until the user deletes them with Android’s file tools. Clearing chat history does not delete received files. You may decline any incoming file, deny a permission, stop discovery, clear chat history inside the app, delete saved files through Android, or clear the app’s storage/uninstall it to remove app-private local records. See Delete local data for exact steps. Near Share does not currently create online user accounts, so there is no server account to delete.
Near Share is a general utility and is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum digital-consent age in the user’s country). We do not knowingly collect children’s personal data. Parents and guardians should supervise file sharing and installation of APKs.
This static website does not use advertising cookies or analytics. It stores only the visitor’s language preference in the browser. Hosting infrastructure may process basic request information such as IP address, user agent, time and requested path for delivery, reliability and abuse prevention under the host’s operational policies.
Near Share can be used globally where Bluetooth file transfer is lawful and supported. Mandatory local privacy and consumer rights continue to apply. We may update this policy when app behavior or legal requirements change; the effective date above will be revised, and material changes will be communicated in the app or release notes where appropriate.

Google Play release disclosure
For the current build, the intended Data Safety position is “no user data collected or shared by the developer,” because Google defines collection as transmitting data off the user’s device to the developer or a third party. The user-initiated phone-to-phone file transfer and every included SDK must still be reviewed against the current Play form before submission.
Do not claim independent end-to-end encryption in the Play listing. Re-audit this page, the privacy policy, app permissions and every SDK whenever the application changes.

User control
Near Share does not currently create an online account or retain app data on an IOTSOFT.in server. Deletion is performed on the Android phone where the information is stored.
If an online account or optional cloud service is added in a future version, this page will provide an external deletion-request path before that feature is released. Questions: iotsoft.in@gmail.com.
Legal · Effective 14 October 2026
These Terms govern use of the Near Share Android application and official website. By using Near Share, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the application.
Near Share is a nearby, device-to-device Bluetooth file-transfer utility. Features may include QR-confirmed contacts, consent requests, transfer resume, integrity checks, local history, queued offers and delivery receipts. Availability and speed depend on Android, device hardware, Bluetooth implementations, distance, interference and storage.
You must be legally able to accept these Terms. Near Share is not directed to children under 13 or a higher minimum age required by local law. A parent or guardian is responsible for supervised use by a minor.
Subject to these Terms, IOTSOFT.in grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to install and use Near Share on supported Android devices. You may not resell, misrepresent, interfere with, or unlawfully reverse engineer the service except where applicable law expressly permits it.
Installing an APK can change a device and may expose data or permissions. Near Share does not certify, scan, endorse or guarantee an APK merely because it was transferred. Install only software from a trusted source and review Android’s installer and permission warnings. EXE and other platform-specific files may be transferable but are not normally runnable on Android.
A QR or Bluetooth handshake reduces accidental contact selection but cannot guarantee the real-world identity, honesty or security of another person or their device. Keep the phones nearby, compare the displayed contact, and decline unexpected requests. The current release must not be relied upon as an independently end-to-end-encrypted channel.
Near Share may help move backup or archive files, but it is not itself a managed backup service. Keep another verified copy of important data. Transfers, resume checkpoints, receipts and source deletion can fail because of device, operating-system, storage-provider, battery or radio conditions.
We may add, change, suspend or remove features; update permissions or supported Android versions; and issue security fixes. Continued use after updated Terms take effect means acceptance where permitted by law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Near Share is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, file safety, compatibility or successful recovery. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, IOTSOFT.in is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, loss of files, failed backups, malware, unauthorized sharing, device damage or lost profits arising from use of Near Share. Mandatory consumer protections and liability that cannot lawfully be limited remain unaffected.
You may stop using Near Share and uninstall it at any time. We may restrict distribution or support where necessary for security, legal compliance, abuse prevention or product discontinuation.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without removing mandatory rights or remedies available to consumers under the law of their country of residence. Disputes should first be raised through the support contact below.

Help & contact
Turn on Bluetooth and Device Location, grant Nearby devices permission, then open Nearby and press “I’m Here.” Ask the other person to search at the same time.
The confirmed contact is offline. Tap the queued card, allow a search, and ask the friend to press “I’m Here.” Consent will still be required before bytes transfer.
Open the delivered APK in its conversation. Android controls installation and may request permission to install unknown apps. Proceed only if you trust the sender and file.
The app stores verified checkpoints and attempts to continue from the receiver’s saved byte position when the same confirmed phones reconnect and the source file is unchanged.
Include your phone model, Android version, Near Share version and the step where the issue occurred. Never email a confidential file.
